Water Island

We took the safari bus to Crown Bay Marina.
There we had breakfast at Tickles Dockside Pub.
The Water Island ferry left the dock at 10. It holds 25 people and it takes 10 minutes to get there from Crown Bay Marina.
Off the ferry and onto Water Island
Post Office and Library of Water Island

The island has about 100 residents and the beautiful beach, Honeymoon, is its highlight. Golf carts are available for rent for those who want to explore the island. The ferry is greeted by a free shuttle to the beach, a 20 minute walk. Beach chairs are free to use and enjoy. The palm trees and cabanas offer shade. Snorkeling was excellent on the far right side of the beach.
Honeymoon Beach from Above
We had lunch at Heidi's Honeymoon Grill.
The specialty is fish tacos.

We returned to St. Thomas and, on the way to the bus stop, visited Scoops and Brew where we loved their gelato! Good thing we don't stay too close to this place! We had the sea salted caramel. Delicious! We returned the next day and shared a HUGE banana split. I have a feeling we will find a reason to return before the end of our stay.
